2007 - 2008 Season

A disaster. EI hit, so we only went to a couple of shows. The first was Barastoc Horse of the Year, and it was almost a super show.

Lynvale Lodge Bollinger - his much awaited debut under saddle. Beautifully ridden by Morgan Deull to a Final 8 finish in the Newcomer Shetland of the Year, and 2nd placing in the Show Hunter Saddle Shetland.

Caramia Carmella - dashed her way round the Newcomer Class, ably piloted by Dimity. At 9.1, she was by far the smallest to go round.

Caramia Caitlyn - our stunning 'hothead' wowed us all by producing a foot perfect workout to claim the International Challenge Shetland runner up sash, beautifully ridden by Dimity. A huge thank you to Hannah for finding replacement music for her when the original choice failed to work on the night.

Caramia Brodie -who could forget the 'Pink Princess' who stormed her way into the Shetland of the Year final, then produced an awesome workout with the gorgeous Tahlia Bird to recieve the runner up sash. Well done to both girls, a huge thrill!

 Bendigo Pre Royal All Breeds

Three ponies attended, Brodie, Caty and our newcomer Ben with all three picking up open wins over the 2 days, Brodie on the Saturday and Caty and Ben on the Sunday. Ben also collected a win in his open led class on the Sunday. Thank you to Courtney and Tahlia for riding the ponies, and to Karen, Ash and Tegan for adding to the 'cute' factor. Congratulations also to Courtney who won Champion led and ridden galloway and also Champion Intermediate riding with her lovely 'Keira Park Take A Bow', and to Tahlia who won Champion ridden and reserve led small pony with the very cheeky 'Warranwood Beaumaris'. Congratulations also to 6 year old Ashley Medlyn and 'Westbury El Questro' on a very emotional win the the novice small pony, lol!

Seymour Agricultural Show

Brodie, Caty and Ben made the 5 minute trip to Seymour with Brodie winning the Open Saddle Shetland and Reserve small pony and Ben placing in all of his ridden classes and reserve led Shetland Gelding. Thank you to Melissa Nicholls who stepped in to help out with the ponies, and also to Zoe Mumford who strapped tirelessly all day. Congratulations to Hannah and 'Lynvale Lodge Milton' on their Champion Shetland Stallion win.
